Visiting Us

About Us

Amazing!GRACE East Coast is a brand new church for Redcar & Cleveland meeting at the Tuned In! Centre, next to Coatham Beach. We are part of the Amazing Grace Church Network started in 2011. We also have our founding church at Teesside Park and another in Tartu, Estonia. We are aiming to plant a number of churches across the UK and Europe.

Sunday Services

We meet in the Tuned In! Centre next to Coatham Beach and Boating Lake. Sunday morning family services start at 10:30am and run for approximately 1½hrs. Services include worship led by our band, communion and a sermon. We also normally have a collection but if you are visiting feel free to let the collection bucket pass you by!

We meet in the main performance hall accessible from the corridor to the right of the reception. East Coast KIDZ church is in the room adjacent to this. Children under 12 join us for the first part of the service then have their own church in a separate room. The older children have a separate room they use for part of the kids church session.

There is a cafe in the building (not run by the church), which is open both before and after our meetings if you want refreshments. Toilets (including disabled) are opposite the reception area.

Finding us

The Tuned In! Centre overlooks Coatham beach and is easily accessible from the Trunk Road and A174, as well as Redcar and surrounding areas of East Cleveland. If you are using SatNav, our postcode is: TS10 5BJ.

Parking

There is limited free parking around the building throughout the year; this includes disabled parking bays. There is usually plenty of free parking on a Sunday when we meet and further free parking in adjacent car parks. For more information about car parks in Redcar please see the following:

Cycling

There are showers within the building for cyclists and places to chain bikes outside the building. The building is open from 9:30am on Sundays.

Accessibility

A strong part of our vision is for East Coast to be an inclusive church. We recognise that many churches are not accessible to those with disabilities. Our Senior Leaders Tom and Stacey Gibbons have a son with learning disabilities and it is our vision to be a church where disabled adults as well as parents of children with disabilities feel welcome, comfortable and included.
